Understand the differences between centralized exchanges (CEX) and non-custodial swaps routed through third-party providers.
Each exchange is scored with Squaby's rating methodology version 1.0: 38 criteria in 7 weighted categories, each with a published point rule. Only exchanges with evidence for at least 80% of the possible points are ranked.
Places are decided by the exact score before rounding. Two exchanges shown with the same number can therefore hold different places.
Partner links do not change a score: points come only from the recorded facts and the published point rules, and a score is not a recommendation.
Scores describe each exchange's global offering. Fees, products and availability differ by country and change over time, so verify them on the exchange's official site before acting.
