Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 1, 2024
Welcome to Squaby (“Squaby.com,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Operating as a comprehensive institutional infrastructure, these Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the squaby.com website, including all subdomains (such as swap.squaby.com and buy.squaby.com), content, interactive simulators, educational materials (Squaby Academy), market telemetry, and integrated third-party financial interfaces (collectively, the “Services”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using any part of the website or subdomains, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing and using the Services.
Eligibility and User Representations
By using the website or Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- You have the full legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.
- Your use of the Services will not violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Any information you provide to us is true, accurate, current, and complete.
Prohibited Jurisdictions & Sanctions Compliance
You represent and warrant that you are not a resident of, located in, or attempting to access the Services from any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive international sanctions or embargoes (including North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, or sanctioned regions), nor are you listed on any restricted party list maintained by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, or equivalent international regulatory authorities.
Intellectual Property Rights & Educational Simulators
Unless otherwise stated, the website, subdomains, source code, databases, software, UI/UX designs, educational materials, tools, and interactive cryptographic sandboxes (collectively, the “Content”), as well as all trademarks and logos (the “Marks”), are owned, controlled, or licensed by us.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial, educational usage only.
Interactive execution modules within Squaby Academy (including entropy sandboxes, trust scorers, and roll verifiers) are strictly client-side educational simulations. They do not process mainnet financial capital, issue real tokens, or execute live block ledger state changes.
Blockchain Protocol & Network Risks
By using the Services, you acknowledge that blockchain transactions are inherently volatile, irreversible, and immutable. Squaby exercises zero control over public blockchain networks, underlying smart contracts, network execution fees (gas), market slippage, or transaction settlement latencies. You assume sole responsibility for all cryptographic operations dispatched via integrated client interfaces.
Third-Party Services & Affiliate Disclosure
Squaby provides access to third-party tools, liquidity aggregators (e.g., ChangeNOW), and commercial partners (e.g., hardware wallets, exchanges, and iGaming platforms).
- Independent Execution: We do not own or control third-party liquidity providers. Transactions initiated via integrated widgets are executed entirely by the respective service provider under their terms.
- Non-Custodial Architecture: Squaby does not hold custody of digital assets, manage private keys, process fiat clearing, or perform identity verification (KYC/AML).
- Affiliate Compensation: Squaby may receive financial compensation or referral commissions from third-party partners linked across our directories. This commercial relationship does not influence our objective architectural standards.
No Regulatory Licensing or Investment Advice
Squaby is a unified infrastructure provider and educational ecosystem. Squaby is not registered as a broker-dealer, money services business (MSB), money transmitter, investment adviser, or financial credit institution with any regulatory authority in the United States or internationally. Content provided on this site does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice.
Limitation of Liability & Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Squaby.com, its owners, directors, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or third-party integrations.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted solely on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
